The engagement

Any engagement has to start with understanding.

We need to understand what you want us to do, how you want us to do it, and what you want to get out of it. You need to understand what we can do, how long it will take, and how much it will cost. This is best done at a meeting and will allow us to agree the scope of the engagement, a timetable, the outcomes you are looking for, and the cost.

There is no cost for this meeting.

Costs and expenses

Every business wants to know how much advice is going to cost. Wherever possible we undertake engagements on a fixed fee or fixed retainer basis. This gives you certainty.

We will also tell you what additional expenses are likely to be involved at the start of the engagement.

Confidentiality

We will treat all sensitive information we receive before or during the course of an engagement, along with information that we develop for you based on that information, confidentially.

Unless you first approve otherwise, we will not disclose any of this sensitive information to any third party, and we will use all of this sensitive information only for purposes related to our work done for or proposed to be done for you.
